1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to huttolegends.com, the official digital home of Hutto Legends 10U Select Baseball (“Hutto Legends,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located in Hutto, Texas.

By accessing or using our website, submitting an order through our team shop checkout, requesting a player evaluation, or interacting with our features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this site or submit orders.

2. Team Shop Orders, Customization & Fulfillment

Our merchandise store provides official team fan gear and apparel. By submitting an order through our checkout, you agree to the following terms:

• Order Placement & Acceptance: Submitting an order through our checkout form constitutes an offer to purchase. Orders are subject to team review and inventory availability. You will receive an automated confirmation email summarizing your requested items and total.
• Pricing & Availability: All prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars ($USD). We make every effort to display accurate pricing and product colors; however, errors may occasionally occur. If an item is out of stock or pricing was listed incorrectly, a team coordinator will contact you promptly.
• Personalized & Custom Player Items: Items customized with player names, custom numbers, or special embroidery are produced on-demand specifically for you. All sales of personalized merchandise are final and non-refundable once production has commenced, except in the case of manufacturing defect or printing error on our part.
• Payment Coordination: As detailed in our Privacy Policy, our checkout initiates your order directly with team volunteers. Payment is finalized through verified team payment channels (invoices, team booster links, or cash/check upon delivery/pickup).
• Fulfillment & Pickup: Because we are a volunteer-run youth sports organization, merchandise orders are fulfilled in team production batches. Items are typically distributed at team practices, games, or designated local pickup spots in Hutto, TX. Estimated turnaround times are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
• Defective or Damaged Items: If an item arrives damaged or with a printing defect, notify us at info@huttolegends.com within 7 days of receipt with photos of the issue for a replacement or resolution.

3. Tryout Requests & Athletic Participation

Our Tryouts page allows families to schedule private evaluations with our coaching staff:

• Parent / Legal Guardian Requirement: All evaluation requests for players under 18 years of age must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
• No Guarantee of Roster Spot or Play Time: Requesting or participating in a tryout does not guarantee selection for the active roster, inclusion on tournament pickup rosters, or specific playing time/field positions. Roster decisions are made at the sole discretion of the coaching staff.
• Assumption of Risk: Baseball is an athletic sport that involves running, throwing, batting, and physical effort. By bringing a player to an evaluation, parents acknowledge the inherent physical risks associated with athletic participation and agree to ensure their child is medically cleared and equipped with suitable athletic gear (helmet, cleats, glove, protective cup).

4. Sponsorship Packages & Booster Partnerships

Local businesses and organizations partnering with Hutto Legends agree to the following terms:

• Term of Sponsorship: Unless otherwise specified in writing, sponsorship packages (such as banner placements and website features) remain active throughout the designated 2026–2027 tournament season.
• Artwork & Logo Usage: Sponsors grant Hutto Legends a non-exclusive, limited license to reproduce their provided business logo and name on team banners, social media announcements, and our official website strictly for sponsor acknowledgment. Sponsors warrant that they hold the legal rights to provided logos and trademarks.
• Contributions: Sponsorship funds are applied directly to team operating expenses (uniforms, tournament entry fees, training facilities). Sponsorship fees are non-refundable once promotional materials (such as banners or printed gear) have been ordered.

5. Intellectual Property & Team Branding

All content on huttolegends.com — including the Hutto Legends name, skull emblem, wordmarks, custom uniforms, photography, video clips, 3D interactive graphics, audio walk-up songs, and software code — is the proprietary property of Hutto Legends Baseball or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works of any team branding or media for commercial purposes without prior written authorization from Hutto Legends leadership.

6. Live Score Alerts & Arcade Leaderboard Conduct

• Live Score Disclaimers: In-game score updates and browser push notifications are provided for fan informational and entertainment purposes only. Live feeds may experience delays due to ballpark cellular connectivity, weather disruptions, or volunteer scorekeeping latency.
• Derby Leaderboard Etiquette: Users participating in the Home Run Derby game agree not to submit vulgar, profane, harassing, or trademarked names/initials to the leaderboard. We reserve the right to remove any leaderboard entry that violates community sportsmanship standards.
• System Integrity: You agree not to use automated crawlers, bots, or scripts to flood our score APIs, place fraudulent merchandise orders, or disrupt web hosting services.

7. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to third-party services, such as sponsor websites, peer-to-peer donation tools (Cash App, Venmo, Zelle), tournament league websites, or social media platforms. Hutto Legends does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party platforms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE WEBSITE, SERVICES, AND ALL MERCHANDISE ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HUTTO LEGENDS BASEBALL, ITS COACHES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE, INABILITY TO ACCESS SERVICES, DELAYS IN MERCHANDISE PRODUCTION, OR PARTICIPATION IN TEAM EVENTS.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts situated in Williamson County, Texas.

10. Modifications to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time to reflect updates to our team policies, store offerings, or legal obligations. When updates occur, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this document. Continued use of our site following posted changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
